What to Do About Tree Roots in Your Sewer Pipes

Tree roots are always digging, digging, digging, looking for water, and often they can find nice constant source from inside your sewer lines! If tree roots get into the pipes, you can expect sewage backup. Needless to say, this is unsanitary and unwanted.

Resist the impulse to buy a 'quick and easy' root-killing liquid in the store. Often these only partially work, work temporarily, or don't work at all.

Tree roots find your sewer lines in the first place by zeroing in on the consistent moisture in the soil around your pipes. So here's a way to make the soil around your pipes unpleasant to tree roots, so they never go near your pipes in the first place!
